Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series .. On this episode, we talk with Former Teacher & Fiction Author Carla Vergot .. These days, she is an author working on the fourth book in her Lily Barlow series. She took a sabbatical from teaching to write her first book and shortly after, her husband was diagnosed with cancer. As the plot of her story developed, it became funnier than originally intended. Her husband survived his diagnosis and is cancer free today. The process reminded her that there are so many reasons to write, beyond trying to make a career out of it. We cover solid ground. Enjoy.
