Jazz Composer, Saxophonist & Educator Dr. John Petrucelli on His Life in Music & Trip to Kansas City

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz composer, saxophonist and educator John Petrucelli  - On his way to Kansas City with his band, he took some time out to speak with Neon Jazz about Talk about your latest 2018 CD – Presence and his gigs here .. One in the Orion Room at the Green Lady Lounge on 10.8.18 and the Black Dolphin on 10.9.18 – He just got his PhD in Music from University of Pittsburgh and talked about some seminal moments in his life either in the classroom or on stage with the likes of luminaries and legends like Geri Allen, Victor Lewis, Ralph Bowen, Charles Tolliver, Sean Jones, Delfeayo Marsalis, Conrad Herwig and Terence Blanchard .. KC is fortunate to get his jazz and we were to get to know him ..
