Co-founder & Songwriter Mark Mullins of Bonerama on the 2019 Single Empty World

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Bonerama co-founder and songwriter Mark Mullins on the 2019 Single “Empty World” to Allen Toussaint, the prolific legendary New Orleans producer and musician who impacted the lives of many New Orleans musicians – The epic Trombone-focused Bonerama teamed up with renowned vocalist Michael McDonald of Doobie Brothers fame - A tune is dedicated including those of Bonerama. The lyrics reference Toussaint's songs, paint a picture of the kind person he was, and express sadness of him no longer being with us. The song also has an alternate meaning as a dedication to all of New Orleans lost legends. .. So, get to know him and dig this interview my friends ..
