Kansas City-Based Saxophonist, Composer, Educator & Author Adam Larson

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Kansas City-Based Saxophonist, Composer, Educator and Author Adam Larson  ... His latest 2019 CD Listen With Your Eyes is his fifth record and was released on Ropeadope Records – and it’s getting solid reviews .. Adam is originally from Normal, Illinois .. a few hours from Chicago .. he started playing saxophone at the age of 11 – After graduating from University High school in 2008, he moved to New York City .. He originally got baptized in the Chicago scene, then 12 years in New York City and now Kansas City is home .. he’s currently on faculty at University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory and he couldn’t be happier to be in KC .. He’s got great stories .. So, get to know him and dig this interview my friends ..
