Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Saxophonist Dan Willis .. We caught up with him in late June 2020 to talk about his newest CD The Monk Project .. He rolled into NYC in a loaded-down Dodge Shadow on a crisp fall day in 1992, just days after his 24th birthday.
Since his arrival on the scene, he's received accolades from several of the top music critics in the city and he has accumulated quite a story .. Enjoy…
