The triumphant outdoor concert was on August 29, 2020 on the 100th Birthday of Charlie 'Bird' Parker taking to the stage to honor the legacy of Charlie Parker, Bobby Watson and Count Basie .. We caught up with Jacky Myers - Clint Ashlock, Trumpeter & Leader of KCJO- David Chael, Alto Sax - John Kizilarmut, Drums - Eddie Moore, Keyboards and Andrew Stinson, Bass prior to the show to get their thoughts on the gig, KC jazz restart and Bird at 100 ..
