Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Japanese-born, NYC Composer, Vocalist, Musician & Educator Emi Makabe .. We talked to her from Japan in early January about quite a bit .. Like her latest 2020 CD Anniversary, the COVID-19 world, her move to New York and so much more .. She has performed in renowned venues in New York City, Europe and Japan and sings in English and Japanese as well as wordlessly. She has been involved with music from early childhood.
