Taiwan-born Jazz Vibraphonist, Composer & Arranger Chien Chien Lu

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Taiwan-born Jazz Vibraphonist, Composer & Arranger Chien Chien Lu .. We interviewed her in early January 2021 about a whole lot .. like her latest 2020 CD The Path, COVID-19 and a colorful career in jazz .. Of many notable moments, she recorded on trumpeter Jeremy Pelt’s latest record “Jeremy Pelt The Artist” and toured with the band to France, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, and UK. Her first exposure to music when she started learning the piano at the age of six. At the age of ten, she developed a passion for percussion. Get to know her ..
