Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Russian-born, Brooklyn-based Jazz Saxophonist, Composer & Educator Lena Bloch .. She opened up about her new highly anticipated 2021 CD Rose of Lifta with her Feathery Quartet drawing inspiration from diverse musical traditions: 21st Century Music, Middle-Eastern, Jewish, Eastern-European, jazz & Western classical music.
