Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Pianist, Composer & Educator Earl MacDonald .. We talked to him about the world we are living in, his career in music and new  2021 CD Consecrated from the label Outside in Music .. All seven of  his’s albums differ in instrumentation — ranging from a quartet comprised of cello, saxophone, piano & percussion to a full 17-piece jazz big band. As a composer, he embraces the roles of social commentator and provocateur, broaching consequential subject matter in his music. He also serves as a professor and Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Connecticut.. Enjoy his story ..
