Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Australian-born, Indiana-based Jazz Bassist, Composer & Educator Brendan Keller-Tuberg .. We talked about his life in music, the impact of COVID and his new 2021 CD In Spite of It All .. It happens to be his sophomore release as leader coming out on November 5th .. This new CD represents an effort to bridge the worlds of modern jazz with post-rock, indiefolk, the avant- garde, and more. He is originally from Canberra, Australia and did his graduate studies at the Jacobs School of Music and has learned from the likes of Walter Smith III, Emmet Cohen, Greg Ward, John Raymond and so many others .. His story is intriguing .. Enjoy ..
