Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Austin-based Jazz Bassist Angel Roman .. We caught up with him about his new 2021 CD Festive Interplay .. On an album that he aimed to gently stretch the boundaries of Afro Latin Jazz by being more inclusive of the many voices that helped shaped my musical landscape. He was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and studied music at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and continued his education at Berklee College of Music.
