Veteran Tenor Saxophonist, Composer & Educator Ray Blue

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Veteran Tenor Saxophonist, Composer & Educator Ray Blue .. He has a new 2021 Digital Release called Ray Blue with Nat Adderly, Jr. & Lafayette Harris These days, he is part of the New York scene and tours internationally with 7 releases on Jazzheads .. Originally from Portsmouth, Virginia and raised in Peekskill, New York, he was drawn to the music of Miles Davis and in 2000 he fulfilled a childhood dream of moving to Europe living in Germany until 2012 .. He’s got a Masters from the University of Iowa in Clinical Social Work and many other great stories to tell .. Enjoy ..
