Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with France-based Jazz Pianist, Composer & Educator Jim Funnell .. We had a long talk on eve of 2022 about his latest CD Live in Japan .. and his long, well traveled life in music .. He started leading his own band in his early teens, performing at jazz clubs by the time he was in high school. He would move on to the Berklee College of Music swimming in a diversity of styles and cultures. He has traveled around the globe and lived in France, England and the United States ..
