Atlanta-based Jazz Hammond Organist, Pianist & Educator Matthew Kaminski

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Atlanta-based Jazz Hammond Organist, Pianist & Educator Matthew Kaminski .. He is the main organist for the Atlanta Braves and just wrapped up quite a weekend with the LA Dodgers .. He opened up about his new 2022 CD Matthew Kaminski with Jeff Hamilton and Bruce Forman called L.A. Connection .. At his core, he is a musician who performs for a crowd of 40,000 people at least 81 times a year. A gig that he has had since the 2009 season. A popular figure in the baseball world, he’s known for entertaining the crowds with funny musical asides when a player from the opposing team .. He’s also got some serious jazz chops .. We get into all of this and more .. Enjoy the story ..
