Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Taiwan-based Jazz Composer Debby Wang .. We cover her debut album "Aftertaste" that contains 9 songs. This project is breaking away from the typical fixed lineup of albums. From solo marimba, vibraphone trio, octet, to a big band, different instrumentations presenting the exploration of the doubts and self-doubt that have arisen during the artist's drifting across various places over the past 13 years. In 2021, she moved back to Taiwan to continue her music career. We cover quite a bit .. Enjoy.
