In April 2002, she was in the ICU in a medically induced coma for 3 weeks. Doctors told her family that she probably wouldn’t make it and if she did, she would have permanent brain damage. She was at my lowest point in my life ... I was not taking care of myself AT ALL. Nearly all of my meals came from a drive-up window .. and how things have changed. She has an amazing story.
