Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series .. On this episode, we talk with Teacher & Author Patricia Punch Barrett .. Formerly, she was an elementary school teacher in Melbourne, Australia, and Anchorage, Alaska. While in Alaska, she developed a series of koala-themed tee shirts designed to raise awareness of global warming, and these were marketed in a local shopping mall. She has always wanted to write a story that featured koalas, and her community has provided tremendous inspiration. Had she not retired in Henderson, she could never have imagined her book called The Panterra Chronicles. While awaiting word from Austin Macauley Publishers, she utilized modern online illustration tools to update some of her design ideas. It’s quite a story. Enjoy.
