Veteran Journeyman Saxophonist & Composer Stan Harrison

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Veteran Journeyman Saxophonist & Composer Stan Harrison .. We caught up with him fresh of the road to talk about his new 2024 CD Some Poor Soul Has a Fire and a gloriously good and luck filled life in music. Born in Philadelphia, raised in New Jersey, and a resident of New York City for the last few decades, has traveled the globe performing and/or recording, sound-checking, rehearsing, bussing, flying, dining, laughing, emoting, etc., with David Bowie,  Radiohead, They Might Be Giants, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Duran Duran, Mick Jagger and many others. He is a jazz musician though and has been since he first heard the music of Cannonball Adderley, John Coltrane, Miles Davis. We get into the full story. Dig it ..
