On this episode, we welcome Andra Douglas—an extraordinary artist, author, foundation founder, creative executive, and national champion athlete whose remarkable career has spanned sports, music, publishing, philanthropy, and the visual arts.
A native of Central Florida and graduate of Florida State University and Pratt Institute, Andra has built an inspiring legacy. She has been a National Champion rugby player, a National Champion quarterback in women’s tackle football, Vice President and Creative Director at Atlantic Records/Time Warner, founder of the Fins Up! Foundation for Female Athletes, owner of the New York Sharks Women's Pro Football Team for 19 years, and an inductee recognized by the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
Today, Andra lives in New York City's Greenwich Village, where she creates vibrant mixed-media artwork from her rooftop studio while continuing to write and inspire audiences through her latest book, Changing Cadence.
This is an inspiring conversation about perseverance, leadership, creativity, and embracing new chapters in life.
