NYC- Based Drummer, Composer, Educator, Bandleader Curtis Nowosad on his New 2019 Self-Titled CD

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with NYC- Based Drummer, Composer, Educator, Bandleader Curtis Nowosad ..  His newest 2019 Self-Titled album is co-produced by Marc Cary, and also features vocalists Brianna Thomas & Michael Mayo, along with Duane Eubanks, Braxton Cook, Corey Wallace, Andrew Renfroe, Jonathan Thomas, Matthew Whitaker, and fellow Canadian Luke Sellick. It is due for release on June 14th, 2019 and he talked at length about it .. The themes for the songs revolve around social themes and figures that provoke both thought and action .. We delve into that and so much more on his latest release since 2014.
