Florida-based Jazz Bassist Brandon Robertson

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Florida-based Jazz Bassist Brandon Robertson .. He opened up about his 2019 CD B.O.A.T.S – Based on a True Story…. He is a ten year veteran of the Florida jazz scene and this debut album as a leader represents the first chapter of his musical autobiography. Its eight original songs were written over the course of the last 14-years. He is originally from Tampa, FL and his mother was a well know gospel singer who opened for Kirk Franklin, Cece Winans, Yolanda Adams, and even opened up for MC Hammer back in the early 90’s. He originally started on cello, but he was a natural on the bass .. He opened up about this and so much more .. so get to know her and dig this interview my friends ..
