Veteran Jazz Tenor Saxophonist Lawrence Clark

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Tenor Saxophonist Lawrence Clark.. . He talked about his latest 2019 CD  Inner Visions  - A longtime member of Rashied Ali's former group, he has played alongside numerous renowned jazz artists  .. Hegrew up in Camden, NJ, a neighboring city to Philadelphia, PA coming from a non-musical family, he took a liking to music at an early age and first began playing the alto and baritone saxophones. After graduating from high school, he go  a partial scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music where he changed his focus to tenor saxophone and his narrative took off ..
