French-based Jazz Pianist Marc Benham

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with French-based Jazz Pianist Marc Benham .. We talked to him from his home just outside of Paris on April 6, 2020 during the Spring Coronavirus Quarantine to talk about no live jazz and more .. He started studying classical music in France and Belgium as a child and discovered the Harlem stride piano and New-Orleans jazz thanks to his Dad, who’s a Dixieland saxophonist, and a Swing lover .. that led him to the Bill Evans Piano Academy in Paris and a very rich jazz career .. Have a listen ..
