Jazz Flautist Yulia Musayelyan

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Flautist Yulia Musayelyan .. We caught up with her on April 25, 2020 during the Coronavirus Quarantine to talk about her latest 2020 CD Unsaid and the ambivalence of it coming out during a pandemic .. She was born in Moscow, Russia. And began her music studies at the age of 4 .. She would go on to become the 2001 recipient of the National Foundation for the Advancement in the Arts Award.
