LA-based Award-Winning Saxophonist & Composer Alex Hahn

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with LA-based Award-Winning Saxophonist & Composer Alex Hahn .. He reached out to the show and we are glad he did .. He talked about his new  2021 CD Second Wind featuring all new original music inspired by jazz, funk, rock, pop, fusion, and modern production. Still early in his career, he has had the opportunity to perform with many renowned artists such as Herbie Hancock, Esperanza Spalding, Bob Mintzer and John Daversa .. He also recorded on Michael BublĂ©’s last two albums .. And he’s got some solid brass already .. He is a 6-Time Downbeat Magazine Award Winner, alumnus of the prestigious Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz and 1st Place AND Winner of the 2019 Michael Brecker International Saxophone Competition held at the Red Sea Jazz Festival...
