She was born and raised in Detroit, and based in Staten Island, NY. For four decades, she has drawn equally from jazz, classical, dance, gospel and pop genres .. Over the years, she has worked with numerous music stars like trumpeter Donald Byrd, Kool & Gang, The New Shirelles, and many others ..
