Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Brooklyn-born, France-based Jazz & Blues Singer Natalia M. King .. She is of Dominican origin and was born in the musically-rich, revolutionary time of 1969 in Brooklyn’s Latino-American district. When she was an adolescent she left the “barrio” to settle with her family in Rochester, New York State. She went on to study sociology and history at university. Her path led to France and it was a decision that was natural and almost written in the stars .. and the stars . .that comes into the conversation .. She’s a wondorous talent full of wisdom .. Enjoy the tale ..
