Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Toronto-based Jazz Bassist, Composer & Bandleader Robert Lee .. We caught up with him about his life in music, COVID world and his new 2022 CD Cha Run .. This is the sophomore album of his as he continues to refine his artistic identity that is rooted in the emotional provocation of jazz and improvised music .. The album contains all original compositions inspired by Korean folk stories, spanning various fantasy and romantic narratives. His musical interest started with the violin before switching to the bass. Enjoy the story ..
