Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series Jazz Pianist Johannes Wallmann on the 2022 CD Precarious Towers .. This is his tenth album as a leader featuring a new high-octane quintet forged during the pandemic on a new set of tunes that embraces and celebrates in-person music making with joyful abandon. He premiered the new group in October 2020 on a live-streamed concert from Madison’s Union Theater. The album comes out on June 3, 2022 .. We discuss that, COVID life and much more ..
