Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Colombian-born Jazz Flautist Daniel Pardo .. We get into his new 2024 CD Ese Momento and a tremendous life in jazz from his base in Houston, Texas. On this solo leader debut, he infuses boleros with jazz, classical and latin influences in collaboration with Pianist/Arranger Sergio Pamies. This veteran musician has graced recordings and performances by artists from a wide range of styles and genres – jazz, western classical music, rock, and traditions from across the globe. He has toured or recorded with the likes of Jeff Coffin, Jake Shimabukuro, Bob Mintzer, and members of the iconic classic rock band Chicago. We get into his great ride in the music.
