Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Mexican-born, Chicago-based Jazz Drummer & Composer Gustavo Cortiñas .. We talked about his newest 2021 CD Desafio Candente - This work explores the history of colonialism, imperialism and neoliberalism in Latin America with 30+ musicians and speakers from 11 different countries over the course of 14 tracks and accompanying videos.
