Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with NYC Jazz/Americana Duo of Sweet Megg & Ricky Alexander .. They have a new single out called “My Honey’s Lovin Arms” from their debut album, I’m in Love Again coming out on June 11, 2021 on Turtle Bay Records .. These two come from very diverse backgrounds & they started performing together in New York City in 2014. Sweet Megg is a New York City bred vocalist who performs a range of material steeped in the American traditions of jazz and blues. She splits her time between Nashville and Brooklyn. Ricky began exploring the clarinet & fine tuning his primary instrument, the saxophone. He has performed at The Kennedy Center and many other prestigious and historic venues .. Together, they have a chemistry and a great story .. Enjoy ..
