NYC-based Jazz Singer, Performer & Composer Anaïs Reno

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with NYC-based Jazz Singer, Performer & Composer Anaïs Reno .. This young singer released her debut 2021 CD Lonesome Thing - Sings Ellington & Strayhorn .. Back in 2020 at the age of 16, she won accolades for her dedication to the Great American Songbook. She recently received the Julie Wilson Award, and in 2019 won the Mabel Mercer Foundation competition for high school students. She started singing when she was eight & since 10 she has performed with a notable array of jazz and cabaret artists at venues like Birdland, the National Arts Club, the Players Club and Carnegie Hall. Her story is starting to really take off .. Get to know her and enjoy….
