Over his storied and rich career, he was a member of the Sesame Street house band for several seasons, he played with big band leaders Lionel Hampton and Woody Herman in the 1970s, and with Buddy Rich and Dizzy Gillespie in the 1980s and since 1985, he has been a member of the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra ..He’s got stories ..
