Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with JUNO-nominated Toronto-based Jazz Bassist, Composer & Arranger Michael Herring .. He talked about his new 2022 CD New Dreams, Old Stories with the avant-folk- jazz quartet Way North .. The band seeks to connect the past and present of our collective human experience. They drawn on the musical lineages of jazz and bebop, as well as folk musics from South America and the American South .. Enjoy this story ..
