Minneapolis-based Jazz Musician David Billingsley on the 2022 CD Hymns From Mama's House: Family Reunion

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Minneapolis-based Jazz Musician David Billingsley on the 2022 CD Hymns From Mama's House: Family Reunion .. This project is dedicated to Carol Bostick, David's Mother who recently passed in December 2021. On a warm Minneapolis Summer Day while Covid was raging, he gathered his closest music friends and created an Album in two days. They picked the key signatures and arrangements on the spot. He’s an old friend of the show .. we were destined to run into each other during June 2020 as the pandemic was taking hold and he was looking to promote his album .. He opened up about COVID, projects, hope and much more .. Enjoy ..
