Kansas City Jazz Violinist Adam Galblum

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview with Kansas City Jazz Violinist Adam Galblum… He has a great story about his 2015 CD Down to the Wire Stringband Tribute to the Music of John Mayer  - These days, he is a staple on the thriving Kansas City Jazz scene and he grew up in Overland Park, KS - He was was a student of 1st generation Count Basie Band alum and legendary jazz violin pioneer Claude "Fiddler" Williams, in the 1990s – then went on to attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and lived in the Denver area from 2005-2014 touring nationally with bluegrass bands – These days you can catch him as the bandleader of Hot Club KC & Hot Club Trio, along with being a part of Splitting Atoms. He talks about all of this and so much more .. So, get to know him and the band and dig this interview my friends ..
