He reemerges from the COVID-inspired shutdowns with a newly refined conception on both instrument and pen and is the recorded premiere of his new trio featuring bassist Jay Anderson and drummer Dennis Mackrel. He was classically trained at the Westchester Conservatory of Music in White Plains, New York. Since 1975, he has appeared as a featured soloist and bandleader with an array of jazz musicians like Sonny Rollins in international venues. Enjoy the interview ..
