We had a solid interview about her new 2022 CD Kim Nalley Band With Houston Person - I Want A Little Boy .. In the midst of uncertainty and crisis, her voice offers solace and joy. As American society seems determined to unravel, she holds firm to timeless musical truths, delivering a program of songs that embody the best of American culture. She was a born singer from a family that boasts several generations of jazz musicians, She was taught piano by her great-grandmother and studied classical music and theatre in high school before relocating to San Francisco.
