Los Angeles-based Jazz Singer and Songwriter Angela O'Neill

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Los Angeles-based Jazz Singer and Songwriter Angela O'Neill .. We covered quite a bit in our interview from her home in LA .. Like COVID, her acting career, life in music and her new 2022 CD Angela O'Neill and the Outrageous 8 called Light at the End of the Tunnel .. Along with her octet, they are in an adventurous, ambitious mood after two years of dealing with the COVID19 pandemic… All of the band members are veterans of the Los Angeles jazz and big-band scene. Angela started playing the oboe in 3rd grade and played all the way through college .. She went on to graduate from UCLA's drama school and spent the greater part of her adult years in TV and film .. But the jazz is in her heart and now her passion .. Dig this story…
