She is the author of the memoir Dance While the Fire Burns: Identity, Family, and Dreams. With an MFA in Ceramics from UCLA, Deborah pivoted 15 years ago to write her family’s stories and became a certified book coach.
After moving 50 times in 45 years, she finally found home on twenty acres with her husband, her rescued horses, a German shepherd named Killian, and a slew of cats who wander into her sanctuary down the long lane. It’s a heartfelt story about identity, resilience, and finding peace. Dig this journey.
