We caught up with Jennifer to delve into her haunting literary debut, The House in the Middle of the Street, and her fascinating life as a creative.
What happens when opening your front door invites in far more than you bargained for?
In The House in the Middle of the Street, the Greek-American author blends ancient mythology, dark whimsy, psychological suspense, and the uncanny to create a fever-dream fairy tale for tumultuous times. Part myth, part fable, and part psychological excavation, the novel explores the strange places where memory, identity, fear, and imagination collide.
Jennifer is a lifelong storyteller whose onscreen work includes roles in The Louise Log, Good Friday, and FBI: Most Wanted. She has also written and produced for Demivoula Studios and co-founded 18 Bleecker Films, creating projects that merge myth, memory, and the uncanny.
From New York City, we get into her new book, the creative process, acting, filmmaking, storytelling, mythology, writing, and the evolution of an artist who continues to explore the mysterious spaces between reality and imagination.
