Since 2011, Amari has helped more than 1,000 singles improve their dating lives, build meaningful relationships and reduce dating anxiety. According to the Global Love Institute, he is the first Black, gay, certified matchmaker and science-based dating coach in the world.
Amari is also a Certified Consulting Hypnotist (CCH) who specializes in hypnosis for love, helping clients work through self-sabotage, dating anxiety and trust issues. While his primary focus is helping singles become their own matchmakers, his matchmaking story includes an unforgettable television connection: Amari matched Matt and Daniel, the first gay couple featured on Married at First Sight.
A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, and now based in Lee's Summit, Missouri, Amari brings together dating coaching, matchmaking, hypnosis, personal growth and real-world relationship experience in a fascinating conversation about finding love and overcoming the barriers that can get in the way.
