His latest 2019 CD Days Like These .. is his 11th release as a leader and it’s just as good as ever .. He comes from the Perth, West Australia and graduatrf with a Bachelor of Music at the young age of 19 .. Over the years, he has 4 DownBeat SM Jazz Soloist Awards, 2 Grammy Nominations, and was a semi-finalist in the 2008 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition. He’s been all over Europe and the US with the likes of Jeff ‘Tain’ Watts, Joey DeFrancesco, James Morrison, Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison, Christian McBride and so many more ..
