Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Guitarist David Gilmore .. We caught up with him during the COVID-19 world on June 25, 2020 to talk about his latest 2020 CD From Here to Here .. and so much more .. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, studied piano, drums and percussion, taking up guitar studies at fifteen - He left Boston for further studies at New York University where his teachers included sax titan Joe Lovano and pianist Jim McNeely. Following graduation, he worked worked with the best in the business.. His story is great .. get to know him and dig this interview.
