Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Saxophonist & Composer Michael O’Neil .. He talked about his latest 2020 CD And Then it Rained  .. It is his fifth and newest release and is certainly a departure from his previous CDs. Over the years, he has been a mainstay on the San Francisco Bay Area jazz scene. He started studying clarinet at age 10 and one of his first influences was his neighbor who was a jazz great and studio drummer. From there, jazz became his life .. Enjoy…
