NYC Jazz Baritone Saxophonist Frank Basile

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with NYC Jazz Baritone Saxophonist Frank Basile .. We spoke with him back on April 19, 2020 during the early stages of the COVID-19 lockdown about how life had changed and what his life in music looked like. Since moving to New York in 2001, he has been fortunate to establish himself as one of today's most in-demand baritone saxophonists. Dubbed a "prized sideman" by The New Yorker, he has been called upon to perform with, record with, and tour the world with many of jazz's finest musicians and ensembles. So please get to know him and dig this interview.
