Jazz Saxophonist John Butcher

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Jazz Saxophonist John Butcher .. We Zoomed with him on July 30, 2020 during the surreal COVID-19 world about his life in music .. His  work ranges through improvisation, his own compositions, multitracked pieces and explorations with feedback, unusual acoustics and non-concert locations. Originally a physicist, he left academia in '82, and has since collaborated with hundreds of musicians. He is well known as a solo performer who attempts to engage with the uniqueness of place.
