He is a former street kid got involved with using hard drugs at age 16 and ended up in a juvenile behavioral program. Seeking purpose, he joined the Marines and after his best friend died in 2006, he wound up staying in for 13 years. Since leaving the military, Joe has provided customized training programs to private citizens and corporations around the world on mental resiliency and self-reliant personal safety skills.
